This is a great opportunity for students who have appeared for the Higher Secondary (HSC) examination this year or are eligible from the previous session to become a student of one of the top government colleges in the country.

7 College Admission Notice for Science Branch

Applications are being invited for admission to the undergraduate programs for the academic year 2025-2026 in the departments of the science branch of the seven government colleges affiliated to Dhaka University, namely (1) Dhaka College, (2) Eden Women’s College, (3) Kabi Nazrul Government College, (4) Begum Badrunnesa Government Women’s College, (5) Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, (6) Government Bangla College and (7) Government Titumir College.

The seats of Eden Women’s College and Begum Badrunnesa Government Women’s College will be reserved for women only and the seats of Dhaka College will be reserved for men only. The admission process for the departments under the science unit of the affiliated colleges will be completed through the Faculty of Science of Dhaka University. The certificates of the degrees obtained will be issued by Dhaka University. No other facilities of Dhaka University will be applicable to the admitted students. The number of seats reserved for admission to the undergraduate programs of the departments of the above colleges is mentioned in the table below:

Admission Eligibility and Initial Application Form

1. Students who have passed ‘A’ level in Science at the Higher Secondary level can apply.
2. Only those who have passed the Madhyamik or equivalent examinations from 2020 to 2023 and the Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations in 2025 can apply.
3. Only candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary and Science stream examinations in Science Education and have a cumulative GPA of at least 7.00 in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations can apply for admission. Science stream must be a subject at the Higher Secondary level.

7 College Admission Notice Business Branch

The 7 government colleges affiliated to Dhaka University, namely (1) Dhaka College (2) Kabi Nazrul Government College (3) Eden Women’s College (4) Begum Badrunnesa Government Women’s College (5) Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College (6) Government Bangla College (7) Government Titumir College, are inviting applications for admission to the Undergraduate Program for the academic year 2025-26 in the Business Education Branch of the colleges.

Eden Women’s College and Begum Badrunnesa Government Women’s College will have seats reserved for female students only and Dhaka College will have seats reserved for male students only. In addition, both male and female students will be able to take admission in Government Titumir College, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College and Government Bangla College. The admission process for undergraduate programs in the business education department of the above colleges for the academic year 2025-26 will be completed through the Faculty of Business Studies of Dhaka University. Certificates of degrees obtained will be issued by Dhaka University. No other benefits of the university are applicable to the admitted students.

1. Business Education at Higher Secondary Level: ‘A’ Level. Students who have passed Business Management can apply.
2. Those who have passed the Madhyamik or equivalent examinations from 2020 to 2023 and the Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations of 2024, Only they can apply.

3. To participate in the admission test, only candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary and Business Management examinations in Business Education and have a cumulative GPA of at least 6.50 in the Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent examinations can apply for admission. Candidates coming from the Business Management group at the Higher Secondary level must have an accounting subject.

Only students who have passed the humanities stream at the higher secondary or equivalent level in 2025 will be able to apply for admission to the undergraduate programs of the seven government colleges affiliated to Dhaka University, namely (1) Dhaka College (2) Government Titumir College (3) Eden Mohila College (4) Begum Badrunnesa Government Mohila College (5) Kabi Nazrul Government College (6) Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College and (7) Government Bangla College in the departments under the Arts and Social Sciences Unit for the academic year 2024-25.

The seats in Eden Women’s College and Begum Badrunnesa Government Women’s College will be reserved for female students only and the seats in Dhaka College will be reserved for male students only. In addition, both male and female students will be able to take admission in Government Titumir College, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College and Government Bangla College. The subject of Arts and Social Sciences at the Higher Secondary level must be the subject of Arts and Social Sciences.

• Login with your HSC and SSC exam information
• Pay the prescribed application fee through mobile banking (e.g. bKash, Rocket, Nagad) or designated banks.
