S.O.S. Herman Meyner College Dhaka will admit students in 61 (sixty-one) seats in Class 1 in the 2026 academic year through a digital lottery. The entire admission process will be conducted in compliance with health regulations. The application process for admission in the 2026 academic year will be completed online. After submitting the application form, a digital lottery will be held in the presence of the guardians in compliance with health regulations as per the scheduled date and schedule. Only children selected through the digital lottery will be considered for admission to Class 1.
Rules for applying online

You have to download the application form and admit card through the ID and password obtained online and keep it with you which you have to show at the time of verification.

- Admission application form price, software and other charges: (110/-+15/-+90/-) = 215/- (two hundred and fifteen) taka.
- Digital Lottery Event Date and Schedule Release: 26 November 2025 (Wednesday) 12:00 PM.
- Digital Lottery Event and Result Release: 401 December 2025 (Monday)
- The admission process will be completed after necessary verification of relevant documents before admitting those initially selected through lottery.
- Age of the child seeking admission: 6 years (child must be born between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019)

The application form must mention CQ for the catchment area (Mirpur Thana, Kafrul Thana and Bhashantek Thana) quota, FQ for the freedom fighter quota, EQ for the Ministry of Education, GQ for general students (outside the quota), SQ for the twin and sibling quota and PQ for the poor family quota. Documents required for applying for quota
- To apply for all quotas, the student must submit a certified copy of his/her birth certificate (provided online) and a certified copy of his/her parents’ national identity card, along with the following documents, if applicable:
- Certified copy of City Corporation Holding Tax or certified copy of house electricity/water/telephone bill
- Attested copy of the certificate along with the online copy provided by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs for identifying the children of freedom fighters/martyred freedom fighters
- Certificate from the Secondary and Higher Education Department for admission of children of officers/employees working in the Ministry of Education and its subordinate departments/organizations
- Photocopy of the identity card issued by the student’s institution.
- In the application form, siblings and twin students must be mentioned separately.
- Certified copy of the student’s birth certificate (provided online) and certified copy of the parents’ national identity cards
- Required certificate to prove the guardian’s financial incapacity
- A student can only apply for 1 quota.
- If suitable students are not found, students will be selected from GQ for those seats.
Special Note
Meritorious students from poor families will get a maximum of 75% tuition and other fee waiver. The decision of the college authorities in any matter related to admission will be considered final. The schedule may change due to unavoidable reasons and if the institution’s policies are not the same as the policies adopted by the government, the policies will be changed in accordance with the government decisions. Any incomplete form will be considered invalid.
