ApplicationTerms and conditions

Starting and ending date and time for filling out the online application form and submitting the examination fee:

(a) Submission of application forms and payment of examination fees will start from 9:00 AM on 02-01-2026.

(b) Application submission must be completed by 5:00 PM on 02-02-2026.

(c) Only candidates who have received User ID can submit the fee through SMS within 72 hours of the said period (i.e. till 5:00 PM on 05-02-2026). No application will be accepted after the specified date and time.

Rules for applying online

The candidate has to fill the application form prescribed by GTCL through the Web address of Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd. (http://gtcl.teletalk.com.bd) or the Web address of Gas Transmission Company Limited (GTCL) (www.gtel.org.bd) and submit the Online Registration process and fee. When the said website is opened, the radio button for Advertisement, Instructions for Submitting Application and Application Form prescribed for 09 (nine) category posts will be visible. By clicking on the radio button of Advertisement, the advertisement will be available. Before filling the form, the candidate must download this Instruction part and master each instruction well and fill the form by following the information/instructions given in each field of the application form and must fill the fields marked with a red star. National Identity Card Number/Birth Registration Number must be submitted.

Rules for sending exam fees via SMS

After filling the online application form properly and uploading the photo and signature as per the instructions, the candidate will be able to see the Application Preview copy with the photo on the computer. After submitting the application form correctly, the candidate will get an Applicant’s copy with a User ID and a photo and signature. The candidate should print or download the said Applicant’s copy and save it. The Applicant’s copy will have a User ID and using this User ID, the candidate will have to send an SMS to any Teletalk pre-paid mobile number in the following manner and submit the examination fee of 300.00 (three hundred) Taka for the posts mentioned in serial no. 1 to 3 (Grade-12) and 200.00 (two hundred) Taka (non-refundable) for the posts mentioned in serial no. 4 to 9 (Grade-13 to Grade-16).

First SMS:Type GTCL <space>User ID and send to 16222. Example: GITOL POBCR

Reply: Applicant’s Name, Tk-300.00/200.00 will be charged as application fee. Your PIN is (8 digit number)e.g.-xxxxxxxx

Rules for downloading admit card

After depositing the prescribed examination fee as per the above instructions, the candidate will have to download and print the Admit Card containing his/her roll number using a User ID and password sent by Teletalk. This Admit Card will have to be brought along during the written and oral examination.

Required documents for candidates who pass the written exam

Candidates who pass the written test will be called for an interview/oral test. At the time of interview/oral test, candidates must present the original copies of the following documents/certificates to the committee/authority conducting the oral test/interview and submit one set of attested (must be by a first class officer of the government/autonomous organization) photocopies to prove the information mentioned by the candidate in the prescribed application form.

• Certificates of all educational qualifications and experience (if any).

• Character certificate issued by a Class 1 officer of a government/autonomous institution;

• Citizenship certificate issued by the Chairman of the Union Parishad or the Mayor or Ward Councilor of the Municipality/City Corporation, stating the permanent address of the candidate.

• National Identity Card or Birth Registration Certificate (information to be provided by the candidate in the job application form);

• In case of a degree obtained from a foreign university, an Equivalent Certificate issued by the relevant domestic university/University Grants Commission (UGC);

• Candidates employed in government/semi-government/autonomous organizations must have permission from the appropriate authority at the time of oral examination.
• In case of application or quota under the age limit of 32 (thirty-two) years as a child of a freedom fighter/martyred freedom fighter, the candidate must submit the following documents/information as proof of being a freedom fighter as per the instructions of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs circular number 48.00.0000.002.10.1624.2017-772 dated 19-06-2017.
