Job Qualifications and Number of Positions

Responsibilities

• Having comprehensive knowledge in foreign trade (Import/Export/Remittance) business operations, documentations along with foreign trade regulations act, ICC publications (UCP/URR/URC etc.) and guidelines of Bangladesh Bank for foreign trade transactions.
• Checking of Export L/C & opening of Back-to-Back L/Cs against the same as per entitlement.
• Scrutiny of related import documents lodgment, obtaining acceptance & confirming maturity date against Back-to-Back L/Cs.
• Preparation & checking of all vouchers related to all transactions related to export & import bills settlement including recovery of interests, commission, and charges.
• Ensure proper & timely correspondences in relation to FED with concerned parties/ authorities.
• Monitoring all statutory submission & compliances of all governing requirements with the proper authority/departments.
• Posting of On-Line Export Monitoring in the On-Line Export Management System of Bangladesh Bank.
• Preparation and timely submission of all kinds of related statements to the concerned authorities. Executing any other duties as and when required by the Management or Line Manager.

Age limit

Not over 35 years as on 30.06.2025. No affidavit in respect of age will be acceptable.

General Conditions

• Only published results will be accepted. Testimonials for this matter will not be accepted.
• Candidates with foreign degree must have an equivalence certificate from the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh/Ministry of Education and their degree and result must be equivalent as above.
• Salary & remuneration: Selected candidates will be appointed provisionally and given regular scale in the rank of Senior Officer as per Bank’s rules. After successful completion of 01 (one) year Provisional period, he/she will be confirmed in the service of the Bank.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data analysis ability is a must.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation abilities are required.
• Selected candidates shall have to give an undertaking that he/ she will serve the Bank for a minimum period of 05 (five) years.
• Selected candidates shall have to serve anywhere in Bangladesh.
• Any incorrect/fake information found later, will cancel the candidature.
• Persuasion/Tadbir in any form will result in automatic rejection of the Candidature.

• Certificates of different examinations, experience certificates or any related certificates submitted by the candidates to the Bank will be verified from the respective institutions and any discrepancy found in the documents will be severely dealt with.
