• Age (as of 01/03/2020)
• Maximum age limit is 30 years for all candidates except children of freedom fighters and disabled candidates.
• Maximum age is 32 years for children of freedom fighters and disabled candidates.
• Last date and time for filling out the application form, paying the fee and collecting the Tracking Page: 21/01/2021, 11.59 pm.
• Application Fee Amount: The non-refundable examination fee is Tk. 200/-(Taka Two Hundred Only) which has to be paid through Dutch Bangla Bank Limited’s Payment Gateway ‘Rocket’.

Rules for applying online

• Online Application Form: Only available on Bangladesh Bank recruitment website (https://erecruitment.bb.org.bd) must apply by filling out the Online Application Form. The rules and other terms and conditions for filling out the form while submitting the application online can be found on the website.
• Candidate Details: The candidate’s name, father’s and mother’s names should be written in the online application exactly as they appear in the SSC or equivalent certificate.
• Permanent address of the candidate: The permanent address mentioned in the nationality certificate issued by the candidate’s Union Parishad Chairman/Municipal Mayor/Ward Councilor must be mentioned as the permanent address of the candidate.
• Photo: In case of new applicants, the candidate must scan and upload a color photograph (with white background) of the candidate taken not more than three months ago, not less than or more than 600×600 pixels and file size not more than 100 KB, in the designated space of the Online Application Form.
• Signature: In case of new applicants, the candidate’s signature should be scanned and uploaded in the designated space of the Online Application Form in a size not less than or more than 300×80 pixels and file size not more than 60 KB.
• Date of Result of Degree Obtained: The date of publication of the results of the relevant degree published by the Examination Controller must be mentioned in the designated box of the Online Application Form.
• CV ID No. Obtainment: Candidates who have previously applied through Bangladesh Bank will have to fill the Online Application Form using their existing CV ID No. and Password. New applicants will receive a CV ID No. and Password by filling the required fields of the Online Application Form through the website (https://erecruitment.bb.org.bd). The first part of the CV ID No. received [the part before the hyphen (-)] will be used for payment of the application fee.
• Job ID No: Job ID number Senior Officer (General) 10112, Officer (General) 10113 and Officer (Cash) -10114 which must be used at the designated place while paying the application fee.
• Application Fee Payment Method: For details on the application fee submission method, visit the website https://erecruitment.bb.org.bd/onlineapp/rocketpreepay.pdf. In both Instant and Prepaid methods, an applicant can pay the fee through his/her own or agent account. In Instant method, an applicant can complete the application process by paying the fee directly using his/her Rocket account.

Under no circumstances will a duplicate copy of the Tracking Page be provided.

Special Note

• It is advised to save the Tracking Page in hard copy form so that you can fill out the application form and pay the prescribed fee in sufficient time without waiting for the last date and time.
• The candidate’s name, father’s and mother’s name, permanent district, date of birth, photo, signature and other information must be filled in the Online Application Form with great care and accuracy. Eligible candidates will be selected initially subject to verification of the overall information, photo, signature etc. provided in the Online Application Form.
• Initially, the notification regarding the admit card of eligible candidates and the date of the selection examination will be published on the Bangladesh Bank recruitment website and in the daily national newspaper in due course.
• Candidates will have to participate in a selection exam and an oral exam.
• Candidates do not have to submit any documents during the online application. Candidates who pass the written examination will have to submit appropriate certificates/certificates in support of each information provided in the online application on the day of the oral examination. If any substantive error is found during the verification of the accuracy of the information provided by the candidate in the Online Application Form, there will be no opportunity to participate in the oral examination. Moreover, even if any error is observed during the preparation of the panel after the oral examination, the candidate will not be included in the panel.
• Job candidates must apply with prior approval from their employing authority and must present a copy of the approval on the day of the oral examination.
• The latest government policies and other rules and regulations regarding quotas will be followed properly in recruitment.
• The respective banks/financial institutions reserve the right to make the final decision on whether or not to hire the candidates.
