Applications are invited from candidates seeking admission in the 04-year B.Sc. in Nursing, 03-year Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and 03-year Diploma in Midwifery courses in government, autonomous (military-civilian) and private nursing and midwifery educational institutions for the academic year 2025-2026, subject to the following conditions.
Application conditions
The applicant must have passed the HSC/equivalent examination of 2023, 2024 or 2025 and the SSC/equivalent examination of 2021, 2022 or 2023. However, the gap between the SSC and HSC examinations cannot be more than three years. In the case of admission to Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery courses, 10% of the specified seats in government institutions will be reserved for male candidates. In the case of private institutions, a maximum of 20% of the specified seats can be admitted to male candidates. Only female candidates will be eligible to apply for the Diploma in Midwifery course. The candidate must be a permanent citizen of Bangladesh.
Eligibility
(a) 4-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. in Nursing Course): The candidate must have passed both SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations in the science department. The total GPA in both examinations must be at least 7.00. However, the GPA in any examination must not be less than 3.00. The candidate must have a minimum GPA of 2.50 in Biology in the HSC/equivalent examination.
(b) 3-year Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery: The candidate must have passed two examinations, SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent, in any discipline. The total GPA in both examinations must be at least 6.00. However, the GPA in any one examination must not be less than 2.50.

Admission test syllabus
The examination will be held in MCQ format of 100 (one hundred) marks in separate question papers for B.Sc and Diploma courses. Subject wise marking scheme of the examination:
BSc in Nursing:Bengali-20, English-20, Mathematics-10, Science-40 (Biology, Physics and Chemistry) and General Knowledge-10.
Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery:Bengali-20, English-20, General Mathematics-10, General Science-30 and General Knowledge-20.
Candidate selection in admission test
Candidates will be selected based on the GPA obtained in the SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations and the marks obtained in the candidate’s MCQ examination.
5 times the GPA obtained in SSC or equivalent examination = 25 marks (maximum);
5 times the GPA obtained in HSC or equivalent examination = 25 marks (maximum);
MCQ exam = 100 marks, total = (25+25+100) = 150 marks.
Candidates who score 40 (forty) or more marks in the MCQ test will be considered as passed. Candidates will be selected on the basis of national merit. In case of admission to government institutions, the institution in which the candidate will be admitted will be determined according to the merit order of the candidate in the selection test and the order of preference given by the candidate. In case of admission to private institutions, the Governing Body/Managing Committee will approve the admission according to the merit order from among the candidates who have passed the admission test.
Admission test fee
For B.Sc. in Nursing course, 700/-(Seven Hundred) Taka, for Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery course, 500/-(Five Hundred) Taka should be submitted as application fee through Teletalk Pre-paid Mobile. The application will be finally accepted only after the fee is submitted online.

Admission in special quota
In the case of reserved seats, including freedom fighters and minority ethnic groups, the latest rules and regulations issued by the government effective on the day of the admission test will apply. However, if no suitable candidates are found in the reserved seats, students will be admitted on the basis of general merit.
Nursing Admission Policy
The provisions of the ‘B.Sc. in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery and Diploma in Midwifery Courses Admission Policy, 2025’ will be followed for other admission related matters. The decision of the Admission Committee will be final in matters not mentioned in the policy.
