Khulna University Admission Circular 2025-2026 (Unit D)

Students will be admitted to the first year of the 4-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Human Resource Management (BBA in HRM) disciplines in the Business Administration discipline under the School of Management and Business Administration of Khulna University. Applications are being invited from the candidates seeking admission in the prescribed manner under the following conditions. It is to be noted that the admission test of D Unit will be held in the divisional cities of Dhaka and Khulna respectively. Khulna University Admission Circular 2025-2026 (Unit D)

Application Eligibility

  • The candidate must be a citizen of Bangladesh.
  • Candidates who have passed the SSC/equivalent examination held in 2022 or 2023 and the HSC/equivalent examination held in 2024 or 2025 can apply for admission.
  • Students from all departments (Science, Commerce and Humanities) can apply for admission. Minimum GPA 3.50 in both SSC/HSC/equivalent examinations and minimum grade point 3.00 in English in HSC/equivalent examinations.
  • The candidate must have a minimum of B grade in 3 subjects in the GCE O-Level examination and 2 subjects in the GCE A-Level examination.

Important instructions regarding exams

  • Admission test time: 1 hour 30 minutes: MCQ section: 45 minutes and written section: 45 minutes.
  • The question paper will be prepared in English.
  • The admission test will have MCQ section and written section. For each wrong answer in MCQ section, 25% of the marks allotted for the respective question will be deducted.
  • Merit list and waiting list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the admission test. GPA of SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent exams will not be considered for the preparation of merit list and waiting list.

Based on the total marks obtained in the admission test, a merit list will be prepared separately, including seats reserved for general seats, children of freedom fighters, tribals, and BKSP.

Application process

  • To apply online, click on https://apply.ku.ac.bd/ and click on the Apply button to create a profile and apply, complete the steps sequentially, click on the Submit Your Application button and save the User Name and Password from the SMS sent to the applicant’s mobile.
  • Log in to the Dashboard using the User Name and Password you received and complete the application process, download the application, and do the following to get the results:
  • Update applicant information from the Profile menu.
  • Verify, remove, and add your application from the Application menu.
  • Pay the fee for your applied unit from the Application Payment menu and save the payment slip.
  • For any application related issues, you can contact the ICT Cell of Khulna University.

Admission Rules

(a) The merit list and waiting list of candidates eligible for admission will be published on the notice boards of the School of Management and Business Administration and on the Khulna University website https://ku.ac.bd/. After the publication of the preliminary results, the preference order will have to be filled online.

(b) After the publication of the final results, the eligible candidates will have to be present in person on the scheduled date and time for admission. Failure to appear at the scheduled time will result in the admission not being accepted.

(c) The original grade sheet/mark sheet/academic transcript and original certificate of the SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations of the candidate selected for admission must be submitted on the day of admission.

(d) In case of candidates under the Freedom Fighter’s Children’s Quota, the original Freedom Fighter’s Certificate of the candidate’s parents must be submitted at the time of admission.

(e) In the case of tribal quota, as proof of the area in which the candidate is a resident and whether he is a tribal, the original certificate signed by the head of the educational institution from which the candidate participated in the SSC/equivalent examination/first class gazetted officer/local union parishad chairman or a certificate issued by the tribal chief and attested by the local Upazila Nirbahi Officer/District Administrator must be submitted at the time of admission.

(f) If any seat becomes vacant after the admission is completed, the concerned Admission Test Committee will have the power to change the discipline of the applicable students based on the merit list and fulfillment of the discipline preference in the online system; which will be informed to the students later.

(g) If an admitted student does not register for the course within 02 (two) weeks of the start of the course registration for the 1st year, 1st term, his/her admission will be canceled and admission will be made from the waiting list in the order of merit for the vacant seat within the next 05 (five) working days.

Special note

(a) At the time of admission test, all candidates must bring 02 (two) copies of the admit card collected for the admission test (obtained online during the application process) with the candidate’s mobile phone/phone number written on the other page of each.
