In the academic year 2025-2026, students will get admission to Bachelor (Honours)/Graduate first year in 19 public universities under the GST cluster through a single integrated admission test. As per the prescribed eligibility of each university under the GST group only candidates who have cleared the admission test can apply for admission in the respective university and will be selected for admission based on the result of the admission test. Each student will appear in only one entrance test according to his HSC/equivalent examination branch (Science, Humanities, Commerce) GST Admission Circular.

Eligibility to apply for GST Admission Test
Only students who have passed the SSC/Equivalent of 2021, 2022 and 2023 and HSC/Equivalent of 2024 and 2025, Diploma-in-Commerce, HSC (Vocational), A Level and other equivalent examinations (as approved by the Equivalence Determination Committee) under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board can apply for the admission test. Students who have passed HSC/equivalent examination from science, humanities and commerce streams can apply for Unit A, Unit B and Unit C respectively subject to prescribed eligibility. Unit wise application eligibility is as follows:
Unit A: Applicants who have passed HSC/equivalent examination from science stream should have minimum GPA of 8.00 (7.50) with minimum GPA of 3.50 in both SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examination (including 4th subject). Madrasa Board (Science) and Vocational (HSC) along with Science Branch of General Education Board will be considered as Science Branch.
Unit B: Applicants who have passed HSC/equivalent examination from humanities stream should have aggregate GPA of at least 6.00 with minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations (including 4th subject). Music, Home Economics and Madrasa Board (General, Mujabbid) will be considered as Humanities along with Humanities of General Education Board.
Unit C: Applicants who have passed HSC/Equivalent Examination from Commerce Branch should have an aggregate GPA of at least 6.50 with a minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent (including 4th subject). Diploma in Business Studies, Business Management (HSC) and Diploma in Commerce along with commerce stream of General Education Board will be considered as commerce stream.
In case of GCE, IGCSE (0 level) examination should have pass in 5 subjects with B grade in at least 3 subjects and IAL (A level) examination in 3 subjects with B grade in at least 2 subjects. In this case, the application should be approved by the Eligibility and Eligibility Committee after applying online along with uploading the combination mark sheet.
Practical Tests of various sections specializing in GST
Students in various specialized departments (Music, Fine Arts, Drama, Theater and Performance Studies, Film and Television, Architecture etc.) of GST cluster universities will be considered for admission subject to participating in the practical test in the relevant subjects. Practical (Drawing) Examination of Architecture Department will be held on the same day (May 09, 2026) as Admission Examination of Unit A at 3:00-4:00 PM at Swa Swa Centre. Only students who have cleared the admission test of A, B and C units of GST group can apply for other specialized departments. Admission to the specialized department will be considered on the basis of the merit order prepared by combining the marks obtained in the MCQ examination (applicable to qualified candidates only) and the marks obtained in the practical examination.
GST Application fee for admission test
The application fee for participating in the admission test is Rs.1500.00 (one thousand five hundred only) to be paid online. Additional Tk 500.00 (Five hundred only) will be added to the application fee in case of participation in practical (drawing) examination of Architecture Department.
GST Information regarding admission test
Every student has to attend the admission test at the designated center. 100 marks MCQ method test will be held in each unit for 1 hour. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates of any unit (A/B/C) will be considered for admission in related subjects of other units subject to the conditions provided by the University. As per the syllabus of HSC Examination 2025 by National Curriculum and Textbook Board, Bangladesh, the subjects and manpower distribution of the admission test are given below:

GST Admission Test Result
The results of each unit will be published on GST Cluster Integrated Admission Test website (www.gstadmission.ac.bd). Pass Mark of Admission Test (MCQ) is 30. Only the students who have cleared the GST cluster integrated admission test can apply for admission in the designated universities subject to eligibility. The result of the candidate who obtained minimum 30 marks in the admission test will be published along with the merit order. The admission process will be conducted in all universities of GST cluster on the basis of the published merit list. The merit list of the three units of the GST Clustered Integrated Admission Test will be prepared in the order given below the criteria.
Merit Rank of Three Units of GST Admission Test
In all those subjects where practical test is required, separate merit list will be published based on the result of practical test. In that case after adding the marks obtained in the practical test with the marks in the MCQ examination the subject wise merit rank will be prepared using the mentioned criteria. The decision of the Integrated Admission Committee (2024-2025) of GST Cluster Universities on any matter related to admission test shall be final.

GST Admission application and admission process
Any eligible candidate can apply centrally through a single application after the release of the admission test results specifying the order of preference of the eligible departments of various universities. Preliminary admission will be done on the basis of merit considering the preference of the applied universities and departments. Students will be called for admission from the waiting list up to four times subject to vacancies. Finally for final admission he/she has to complete the remaining process of final admission in the selected university.
