Students from class 1 to class 9 will be admitted to all government secondary schools across the country (including government-run ones) in Dhaka Metropolitan City in the 2025 academic year. No admission forms will be distributed from the school for student admission. The application fee for admission for the academic year 2025 has been fixed at 110/- (one hundred and ten) taka which can be paid only through SMS from Teletalk prepaid mobile. The date, time and venue of the student selection process in government secondary schools across the country will be announced later. Detailed rules regarding filling the online application form and admission can be found in the secondary circular/order of www.dshe.gov.bd and www.teletalk.com.bd website.
Application age and eligibility
Applicants across the country will receive a list of educational institutions based on the police station during the institution selection process. In this case, candidates can select a maximum of 5 schools in each application in order of preference based on availability. In the case of double shift institutions, if both shifts are selected, both selections will be considered completed.
The same school or shift of the same preference cannot be selected a second time. Students can apply if the minimum age of the student is 05 years as on January 1, 2025 academic year and the maximum age limit is 07 years as on December 31, 2025 (for example: the minimum age limit of a student during admission in the 2025 academic year will be 05 years, i.e. the minimum date of birth will be up to January 1, 2020 and the maximum age limit is up to 07 years, i.e. the date of birth will be up to December 31, 2017).

Rules for filling out the Web Application Form
- You can browse the website https://gsa.teletalk.com.bd to fill out and submit the application form.
- The candidate will fill all the details as per the instructions in the online application form. Candidates who will apply under different quotas must tick (✔) the applicable quota box. Otherwise, the quota will not be considered.
- In the online application form, the candidate will scan his/her color photograph (length 300 × width 300 pixels) and upload it in JPEG format to the designated location.
- After completing the online application form properly and submitting it as per the instructions, the application preview with the photo will be visible on the computer. After submitting the application form correctly, the candidate will receive a User ID with the photo Applicant’s copy.
- The candidate should keep a print or downloaded copy of the application form filled online as a reference for any admission related needs.
- Since the selected information provided in the online application form will be used in all subsequent processes, the candidate must be 100% sure of the accuracy of all the information provided before submitting the application.
Rules for paying application fee through SMS
- Using the User ID number obtained in the Applicant’s copy, the candidate will deposit the application fee of Tk. 110/- for each application by sending 02 (two) SMS from any Teletalk Pre-paid Mobile number in the following manner.
- First SMS: Type GSA<space>User ID (obtained from Web Application) and send to 16222
- Example: Type GSA<space>ABCDEF and send to 16222.
- The return SMS will contain a PIN number along with the student’s name, which must be used to send the second SMS.
- Second SMS: Type GSA<space>YES<space>PIN (obtained from the first SMS) and send to 16222.
- Reserve a Teletalk prepaid SIM to complete the process yourself without relying on others to complete the school admission process and collect related information.
- All communication regarding admission will be done on the mobile phone provided by the candidate in the online application form, so it is advisable to keep the said number active at all times and follow the instructions received via SMS immediately.
Example:Type GSA<space>yes<space>123456 and send it to 16222.
It is especially important to note here that even if all sections of the online application form are completed and submitted, the online application form will not be accepted under any circumstances until the admission application fee is submitted.
User ID and PIN recovery method
Candidates can retrieve their User ID and PIN by following the SMS method below from Teletalk prepaid mobile phones only.

- If an applicant applies to the same institution more than once using fraudulent means and this is later proven, his application will be considered canceled.
After logging in, after inputting the school admission information, if you save and click on the ‘Summary’ button, all the filled information will be displayed which can be printed. If you need to change any information, save the correct information again and click on the ‘Summary’ button again to save a print copy of the information.
