Chittagong University Admission Eligibility
Students who have passed Secondary/Entrance/equivalent examination of 2022 or 2023 and Higher Secondary/Alim/equivalent examination of 2024 or 2025 under any education board of Bangladesh can apply. The applicant will be considered eligible to participate in the admission test of the concerned unit/sub-unit subject to fulfilling the prescribed eligibility for admission in the unit/sub-unit/faculty/department/institute/subject mentioned in the admission guidelines.

Applicants who have passed the GCE (O Level & A Level) and equivalent examinations and holders of equivalent foreign certificates who have passed the GCE ‘O’ Level Examination of 2022 or 2023 and GCE ‘A’ Level Examination of 2024 or 2025 and who have the minimum qualifications mentioned in the admission guidelines will be considered eligible to participate in the admission test in the respective units/sub-units. In this case, the process of getting the equality certificate should be completed between 01-01-2026 and 12-01-2026 by paying the fee of 1000/- (one thousand) only. After completion of equivalence determination, if deemed eligible, the prescribed application fee must be paid and the application must be submitted within the prescribed date. Chittagong University Admission Information D Unit
The admission test will be held at Chittagong, Dhaka and Rajshahi on the same date and time at the notified centre/centres. However, the examination of B1, B2 and D1 sub-units will be held only in Chittagong University campus. Applicants who wish to take the examination in the divisional city must select the 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice options correctly while applying.

M. Phil and Ph. D program admission notification
All departments/institutes of this university and Jamal Nazrul Islam Mathematics and Physical Science Research Center are inviting applications in prescribed form from eligible candidates for admission to M.Phil/Ph.D program in academic year 2024-2025. Ch.B. By downloading the application form from the website, the application form along with the bank draft/pay-order issued in favor of Chittagong University can be submitted to the higher education and research branch of the Registrar’s office by 21/11/2025 from any branch of Agrani/Janta Bank for the fee of Tk 700 (seven hundred) including research scholarship and Tk 500 (five hundred) without research scholarship for both M.Phil and Ph.D. Incomplete and post-due applications will be considered invalid.
