2	UDC cum Cashier (Grade-14) Salary Scale: 10,200-24,680/	1	Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree and related work experience.
3	Office Assistant cum-Computer Typist (Grade-16) Salary Scale: 9,300-22,490/	6	Candidates with Higher Secondary Certificate and typing speed of 28 words per minute in English and 20 words per minute in Bengali will be given preference. Candidates with experience in operating computers will be given preference.
4	Computer Typist (Typewriter)/Typist (Grade-16) Salary Scale: 9,300-22,490/-	1	Candidates with Higher Secondary Certificate and typing speed of 28 words per minute in English and 20 words per minute in Bengali will be given preference. Candidates with experience in operating computers will be given preference.
5	Data Entry Operator (Grade-16) Salary Scale: 9,300-22,490/-	7	(a) Passed the Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent examination from a recognized board; and (b) Passed the examination mentioned in Schedule-3 of the Government Institutions Computer Personnel Recruitment Rules, 2019.
6	Lab Assistant (Grade-16) Salary Scale: 9,300-22,490/-	8	Higher Secondary Certificate in Science. Preference will be given to candidates with 1 (one) year trade certificate in Mechanical/Electrical.
7	Cataloger (Grade-16) Salary Scale: 9,300-22,490/-	1	Bachelor’s degree and experience as a cataloger.
8	Driver (Grade-16) Salary Scale: 9,300-22,490/	1	Must have passed 8th grade and have a driving license and 3 (three) years of experience in related work.
9	Office Assistant (MLSS) (Grade-20) Salary Scale: 8,250-20,010/	20	Must have passed SSC or equivalent examination from a recognized education board and be in good health.
10	Security Guard (Chowkidar) (Grade-20) Salary Scale: 8,250-20,010/	3	Eighth grade pass. Age relaxation is possible for retired members of the armed forces or police or Ansar or any other security force.

Conditions for submitting an application

(1) As per the latest notification issued by the government, the minimum and maximum age of the applicant should be 18-32 years as on 01-01-2026 AD. No affidavit will be accepted for proving age.

(2) The applicant must mention his/her latest educational qualification in the application. (3) In case of married female candidates, the permanent address of the husband should be used as the permanent address.

(4) Nationality:

a) The candidate must be a citizen of Bangladesh.

b) If a candidate is married to a foreign national or is committed to marrying one without the prior permission of the government, he/she will be considered ineligible to apply.

(5) Candidates employed in government, semi-government and autonomous organizations must apply with permission from the appropriate authority and must produce a copy of the permission during the oral examination.

(6) Candidates who pass the written/practical examination will be required to produce the original copies of all certificates and submit an additional 01 (one) set of attested photocopies during the oral examination.

The list of documents to be submitted/presented is as follows:

• Online completed application form/Applicants Copy and admit card.
• All educational qualifications and experience certificates
• 2 (two) copies of attested passport size photographs.
• No Objection Certificate issued by the appropriate authority in case of candidates working in government, semi-government and autonomous organizations.
• Citizenship certificate issued by the Chairman of the Union Parishad/Mayor of the Municipality/Ward Councilor of the City Corporation as proof of permanent residence in the district.
• National Identity Card/Birth Registration Certificate.
• Applicants under various quotas will have to show relevant documents and submit attested photocopies.

Rules for filling out the application form online

• Interested candidates must fill out the application form on the website https://bsti.teletalk.com.bd.
• Starting date and time for filling out the application form and submitting the application fee online: 15-01-2026 AD at 10:00 AM.
• Last date and time for filling the application form online: 15-02-2026, 05:00 PM.
• Candidates who have received User ID within the said period will submit the examination fee via SMS within the next 72 (seventy-two) hours from the time of submitting the application form online.
• In the online application form, the candidate will scan his/her color photograph (length 3000 width 300) pixel and signature (length 3000 width 80) pixel and upload it to the designated location. The size of the photograph should be maximum 100 kb and the size of the signature should be maximum 60kb.
• Since all the information filled during the online application will be used in all subsequent activities, the candidate must be 100% sure about the accuracy of all the information filled before submitting the application form online. (d) The candidate should keep a printout of the application form filled online as an aid for any examination-related needs and submit a copy of it during the oral examination.

Application fee deposit

In the following manner, by sending 02 (two) SMS through any Teletalk prepaid mobile number, for the posts mentioned in the order 1-8, the examination fee of 100/- (one hundred) Taka and Teletalk service charge (non-refundable) of 12/- (twelve) Taka, totaling 112/- (one hundred and twelve) Taka, and for the posts mentioned in the order 1-10, the examination fee of 50/- (fifty) Taka and Teletalk service charge (non-refundable) of 6/- (six) Taka, totaling 56/- (printed) Taka, will be deposited within 72 (seventy-two) hours. It is specially noted that “Even if all the parts of the application form are filled and submitted online, the online application form will not be accepted under any circumstances until the examination fee is deposited”.

• After sending the second SMS, the candidate will receive a password in the return SMS. The candidate must save this password to download the Admit Card.

Rules for downloading admit card

The admit card will be notified on the website http:absti.teletalk.com.bd or on the website of BSTI office: www.bsti.gov.bd and through SMS on the candidate’s mobile phone (only for eligible candidates). The candidate must show this admit card at the time of participating in the written examination and, if he/she passes the written examination, at the time of participating in the oral examination.
