- Based on the growth in the Al Bahini’s capacity, the Director General (Employing Authority) increases/decreases the number of recruitment seats and makes a notification.
- Male and female candidates from all districts can apply for the post of Sepoy (GD). The number of seats is limited.

Aptitude test
- Click on the “Apply” button from the job announcement.
- Please read the application process steps carefully before applying.
- Click the “Proceed” button.
- Answer all the questions on the aptitude test correctly.
Registration
- If you are eligible, enter your personal mobile number and email address if applicable, then click the “Proceed” button.
- Enter the four-digit OTP code sent to your mobile and click on the “Verify” button. Once your mobile number is verified, the system generated user ID and password for registration will appear on your screen.
- Your user ID and password will also be sent via SMS to the mobile number used for your registration.
- Then click on the ‘Go to login page’ button below.
Application fee deposit
- Click the “Login” button with your user ID and password.
- If you wish to pay the admission fee, click on the “Pay Fee” button.
- Application fee of Tk 56/- has to be paid (as per the notification issued by the Ministry of Finance on December 30, 2024).
- Complete the payment digitally by providing the correct information of your banking card or mobile banking.
Educational qualification verification
- Provide your SSC and HSC equivalent exam information (education board, exam year, roll number, and registration number) and click on the “Verify” button.
- If the information you provided is not correct, re-check the information provided for the SSC and HSC equivalent exams and provide the correct information.
Providing personal information and uploading photos
- If the education information is correct, your name and required information will be automatically filled in.
- Provide personal information in the input fields on the form.
- Upload a recent passport size photo.
- Click the “All the information I have provided is correct” check box and click the “Go to next step” button.
- If there is any error in the information, click the “Change Information” button and edit it again.
- Verify the information, once submitted, it cannot be changed.
- If all information is correct, click the “Do you want to submit your information” check box and click the “Submit” button.
Admit Card/Admit Card Download
- Wait for the admit card/admit card. You will be notified via SMS on the mobile number you provided before the exam to download the admit card/admit card.
- BGB e-recruitment website https://joinborderguard.bgb.gov.bd Download the admit card/admit card by logging in with your user ID and password. You must print the admit card/admit card and bring it to the exam center.
- Candidates whose results from Technical Board are not available online will have to select Education Board (Other) at the time of application.
What you must bring with you during the appointment
- Original/Provisional certificate of passing SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations (if applicable).
- SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent pass certificate from the Headmaster/Principal of the concerned school/college stating the permanent address and date of birth of the candidate.
- Guardian’s permission letter attested by the concerned Chairman/Ward Councilor (as applicable).
- Bangladeshi permanent citizenship certificate from the Union Parishad/Municipality Chairman/Ward Councilor (as applicable).
- Original and attested photocopy of character certificate issued by a 1st class gazetted officer.
- 11 (eleven) copies of passport size photographs, recently taken and printed in a lab with blue background. (01 copy of the photograph attested by the UP Chairman/Ward Councilor and 10 copies attested without)
- Unmarried certificate issued by the Union Parishad/Municipality Chairman/Ward Councilor (as applicable).
- Original and certified copy of national identity card.
- Log in with your user ID and password by entering the link https://joinborderguard.bgb.gov.bd. You must download and print the admit card/admission letter sent by BGB and bring it with you at the time of admission.
- Candidates seeking admission to BGB should go to the link https://www.bgb.gov.bd and click on the download option and click on the information form.
