Khulna University Admission Circular 2025-2026 (Unit C)

Students will be admitted to the first year of the 04 (four) year undergraduate (honors) course in the disciplines under C Unit (School of Arts and Humanities, School of Social Sciences, School of Law, School of Education and School of Fine Arts) of Khulna University in the academic year 2025-2026. Applications are invited from the candidates seeking admission in the prescribed manner under the following conditions. It is to be noted that the C Unit examination will be held in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi and Khulna. Khulna University Admission Circular 2025-2026 (Unit C)

Application Eligibility

  • The candidate must be a citizen of Bangladesh.
  • Students who passed the SSC/equivalent examinations held in 2022 or 2023 and the HSC/equivalent examinations held in 2024 or 2025 will be able to participate in the examination.
  • The candidate’s GPA in SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations must be at least 7.00.
  • For English medium students, candidates who have passed GCE O-Level and A-Level must pass the O-Level examination with at least a C grade in each of five subjects and must pass the A-Level examination with at least a C grade in two subjects.

If no candidate is found for the reserved seat, the vacant seat will be filled from the general merit list. Total = 280

Important instructions regarding exams

  • The duration of the admission test is 1 hour 30 minutes. There will be an additional 1 hour for Fine Arts (see Section 3 for details).
  • The admission test will have MCQ section and written section. 25% marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in MCQ section.
  • The GPA of SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent exams will not be considered in preparing the merit list and waiting list. The merit list and waiting list will be prepared only on the basis of the marks obtained in the admission test.

Orientation, registration and class start 25/01/2026

After the list of successful candidates is published on the Khulna University website (https://apply.ku.ac.bd/), the candidate will have to indicate the order of preference of the discipline according to the roll number on the website itself. In this case, the candidate will fill in the specified cells by arranging the order of preference from the discipline mentioned next to his roll number. The filled order of preference cannot be changed later.

Application process

  • To apply online, visit this link https://apply.ku.ac.bd/ and click on the Apply button, complete the steps sequentially, click on the Submit Your Application button and save the User Name Password from the SMS sent to the applicant’s mobile.
  • Log in to the Dashboard using the User Name and Password you received and complete the application process.
  • To download the admit card and get the results, do the following: Update the applicant’s information if necessary from the Profile menu.
  • Verify, remove, and add your application from the Application menu.
  • Pay the fee of your applied unit from the Application Payment menu and save the payment slip. – For any application related issues, you can contact the ICT Cell of Khulna University.

Admission Rules

(a) The merit list and waiting list of candidates eligible for admission will be published on the Khulna University website https://ku.ac.bd/. After the publication of the preliminary results, the preference order will have to be filled online.

(b) After the publication of the final results, the eligible candidates will have to be present in person on the scheduled date and time for admission. Failure to appear at the scheduled time will result in the admission not being accepted.

(c) The original grade sheet/mark sheet/academic transcript and original certificate of the SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations of the candidate selected for admission must be submitted on the day of admission.

(d) In case of candidates under the Freedom Fighter’s Children’s Quota, the original Freedom Fighter’s Certificate of the candidate’s parents must be submitted at the time of admission.

(e) In the case of tribal quota, as proof of the area in which the candidate is a resident and whether he is a tribal, the original certificate signed by the head of the educational institution from which the candidate participated in the SSC/equivalent examination/first class gazetted officer/local union parishad chairman or a certificate issued by the tribal chief and attested by the local Upazila Nirbahi Officer/District Administrator must be submitted at the time of admission.

(f) If any seat becomes vacant after the admission is completed, the concerned Admission Test Committee will have the power to change the discipline of the applicable students based on the merit list and fulfillment of the discipline preference in the online examination, which will be informed to the students later.

(g) If an admitted student does not register for the course within 02 (two) weeks of the start of the course registration for the 1st year, 1st term, his/her admission will be canceled and admission will be made from the waiting list to the vacant seat within the next 05 (five) working days according to merit.

(a) To participate in the admission test, you must apply and collect the admit card through the Khulna University admission website https://apply.ku.ac.bd/.

(c) Due to the space available in the university halls, it is not possible to guarantee a seat in the halls for newly admitted students.

(d) The selected candidate will be examined at the Medical Center of Khulna University. If the doctor at the Medical Center believes that the selected candidate has any disease or health problem that would make it impossible for him to pursue his studies at the University, he may be declared unfit for admission. However, in case of curable problems, the health examination may be repeated within 10 (ten) days.

(e) The Admissions Committee reserves the right to change any section or subsection of the admission rules.
