Bangladesh Army Job Circular 2026 (Bangladesh Army)

The admission process for male and female candidates for the post of soldier will be held at the designated cantonment in 2026. The detailed information for the application of male and female candidates from all districts interested in joining the army is as follows.

Application

Application: Candidates can apply for General (GD) and Technical Trade (TT) subject to the required qualifications. In addition, candidates who are members of BNCC, children of army personnel (SS) and trained candidates from TTTI can apply separately. It is to be noted that the name of serving/retired army children can apply as army children provided that their names are recorded in the records copy of the shift roll. In all cases, applications must be made through SMS and online. A total of 300/- Taka (200/- for entrance examination fee and 100/- for online registration fee) will be deducted in favor of each application.

Application Eligibility

General Trade (GD) Men and Women

• Age:Not less than 17 years and not more than 22 years of age as on February 1, 2027 (affidavit not acceptable).
• Educational Qualification:Passed SSC/equivalent (Madrasa/Technical/Open) examination with a minimum GPA of 3.00.

Technical Trade (IT) Men and Women

• Age: Not less than 17 years and not more than 23 years as on 01 February 2027 (Affidavit not acceptable).

Educational/Technical Qualifications

• Passed SSC Vocational with relevant technical subjects with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
• Candidates who have passed SSC/equivalent (Madrasa/Technical/Open) examination with minimum GPA-3.00 and are eligible for relevant trade courses of minimum 03 months duration as per Table 1 mentioned below from an institution approved by Technical Education Board. Candidates who have completed the Science Department/Diploma Paramedic course will be given priority.

• Health check:Eligible for health testing (including HBsAg and dope tests).
• Swimming:Swimming is essential (minimum 35 meters).
• Marital status:Single (Married/Widow/Divorced, legal action will be taken if any incorrect or false information is provided).
• Nationality:Bangladeshi citizen.

Documents required at the time of admission

• Original certificates/marksheets of educational qualifications, if photocopies are required, they must be attested, but the original certificates must be presented later.
• Original certificate and SSC exam admit card with permanent address and date of birth issued by the head of the concerned educational institution.
• For technical trade candidates, original certificate proving qualification in the relevant technical trade course (including a copy of the license, if any, in the case of driver trade).
• A certificate of consent from the guardian which must be attested by the concerned chairman.
• Original copy of citizenship and character certificate by birth issued by the concerned chairman.
• Certified photocopies of your birth registration certificate and national identity card, if available.
• Certified photocopy of the father’s and mother’s national identity card/smart card.
• 06 copies of recent passport size (5 cm x 4 cm) and 02 copies of stamp size (2.5 cm x 2 cm) attested photographs.
• The background of the photo should be blue/sky blue, and the clothing worn should be light colored.
• Necessary clothing for taking the swimming test (on the scheduled swimming day).
• Pen, geometry box, pencil, scale, and clipboard, etc. for the written test.
• In the case of various small ethnic groups and communities, a certificate from the ethnic group or community head/king/UP Chairman/City Corporation as proof.

Selection process

Eligible candidates will be selected through health check, physical test (running, push-ups, sit-ups, beam (beam is not applicable for female candidates)), written test (Bangla, English, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Intelligence) and interview. Candidates of technical trades will have to participate in practical tests related to the relevant trade. Rules for applying via SMS and online

The candidate seeking admission will first have to apply (SMS) through Teletalk prepaid SIM. In this case, for admission to the soldier post, go to the message option and type the following information and send an SMS to 16222:

1. For General (GD) candidates, the first SMS should be sent by typing as follows.

First SMS: SAINIK<space>1 THREE LETTERS OF SSC BOARD<space>ROLL<space>PASSING YEAR <space> DISTRICT CODE

2. For Technical Trade (IT) candidates, the first SMS should be sent by typing as follows.

The admission test for candidates seeking admission in Technical Trade (TT) will be conducted as per Table-1. In this case, the candidate will have to provide the center code of the center where he/she wishes to appear for the exam and the trade code of the trade in which he/she wishes to be admitted as per Table-1 in the SMS.

3. In case of BNCC candidates, the first SMS should be sent by typing as follows.

BNCC members can apply for General Trade (BNCCGD) and Technical Trade (BNCCTT) subject to eligibility.

1. In case of applicants in the General (GD) profession, the SMS will be as follows.

1. In case of applicants in the Technical Trade (TT) profession, the SMS will be as follows.

4. In case of Army Children (SS) candidates, the first SMS should be sent by typing as follows.

Children of army personnel can apply for General Trade (SSGD) and Technical Trade (SSTT) subject to eligibility.

1. In case of applicants in the General (GD) profession, the SMS will be as follows.

1. In case of applicants in the Technical Trade (TT) profession, the SMS will be as follows.

Example:SAINIK SYL 236098 2018 51 SSTT DVR 111 (SYL for Sylhet Board, TEC for Technical Board, BOU for Open University etc., also as per the district code mentioned below in front of the respective district).

5. Candidates who have received training from TTTI should type the following and send the first SMS.

First SMS: SAINIK<space>15T THREE LETTERS OF SSC BOARD <space> ROLL <space> PASSING YEAR <space> DISTRICT CODE <space>TTTI <space> TRADE CODE

Example:SAINIK DIN 236098 2018 03 TTII DVR (DIN for Dinajpur Board, TEC for Technical Board, BOU for Open University etc., also as per the district code mentioned below in front of the respective district).

6. After sending the first SMS, Teletalk will verify the candidate’s information and provide an SMS containing a PIN number to the eligible candidate.

If the concerned candidate wishes to apply after receiving the PIN number, he/she will have to send the second SMS again as mentioned below. It is to be noted that at the time of sending the second SMS, a total of 300/- Taka (200/- for entrance examination fee and 100/- for online registration fee) will be deducted, so the mobile balance must be more than 300/- Taka.

Second SMS: SAINIK<space>YES<space>PIN NUMBER<space>CONTACT MOBILE NUMBER and send to 16222

Example: SAINIK YES 894098 01xxxxxxxxx and send to 16222

In case of female candidates, the first and second SMS should be sent by typing FSAINIK instead of SAINIK.

7. After sending the 2nd SMS, the candidate will be provided with a USER ID and Password by Teletalk.

The USER ID and Password are incorrect. http://sainik.teletalk.com.bd You have to log in and fill the online application form. In case of application, the candidate has to upload a color photo of 3000*300 (length and width) pixels. The file size will be within 100 KB (kb) maximum.

Rules for downloading admit card

After filling the online application form, the candidate will have to print the admit card. It is to be noted that if the admit card is not printed within 7 days of application, it will not be printed later. All the information filled by the candidate will be displayed on the admit card. Therefore, the candidate will have to participate in the exam with the admit card. The opportunity to participate in the exam without the admit card will not be given. In order to protect confidentiality and to stay away from fraudulent circles, the venue and date of the exam will not be mentioned on the admit card. Each candidate will be informed of the venue and date of the exam through SMS by Teletalk 72 hours before their respective admission test.
